The team I saw were mainly Jamaican, who play sometimes in Margaret Pace Park next to my house where there is a real cricket pitch. To look out and see a pukka cricket team in full whites playing on a real cricket pitch in downtown Miami on a Sunday morning makes my English heart soar. These Jamaicans are so passionate about their cricket. I went down to talk to them and promised to help them with some publicity. Chanderpaul will be playing at the Sarasota International Cricket Club's Thanksgiving Festival. The festival marks the club's 25^th Anniversary of cricket being played in Sarasota and has attracted 15 teams from the United Kingdom; Cayman Islands, Mexico City, Toronto and cities around the USA.
