► The Cricket Council USA (CCUSA), a sports and entertainment management company based in Boca Raton, organises professional cricket matches, including MAQ20, in South Florida, primarily Ft. Lauderdale.   Cricket Council USA holds its second Annual U.S. Cricket Open Tournament. December 3 - 5, 2010 at the Cricket Stadium in Central Broward Regional Park, Lauderhill.    The U.S. Cricket Open will have sixteen teams competing. The US Cricket Open will be a fun-filled three day extravaganza (music, cheerleaders, food) that will be the richest and largest T20 cricket tournament to be played in South Florida. RUGBY FACT: THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL RUGBY FIXTURE WAS BETWEEN ENGLAND AND SCOTLAND IN 1871. The English team was composed mainly of Lancastrians who adopted their county's emblem, the red rose. That is why England's rugby team have the rose on their shirts today. Most other sports in England use three lions.
