Are you a British resident in
Florida with a job requiring a professional?  Use a fellow British expert—-you’ll be on the  same wavelength.    British workers are [usually!]  more reliable, thorough and capable.  There are a considerable number of Florida Brits in the construction business and British homeowners often prefer to hire one of their own, due to the rapport factor.   Plus in the Florida climate they don’t keep stopping for a tea-break. We have created this page to cater to that demand.  When I had my house in Ft.Lauderdale I always used only local British workers, to give them the business. My electrician, plumber, sprinkler man, roofer were all local British professionals in the construction business.  Each of them did an excellent job for me at a fair price.  Of course I had an advantage as they always joked  “better do a bloody good job for Kawaja or she’ll slag us off in her newspaper column.”   As if I would.    Fellow Brits, as with anybody you hire, do your due diligence, check out licences, years in business etc.
