The UK Chatty Cafe Scheme has launched in the US as a nonprofit. The mission is to tackle loneliness and social isolation in the community.  British founder Alex Hoskyn was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list last year for the positive impact the scheme has had in the communities it serves.
