►  Sunday November 10, 2019 at 7p.m.  Legendary British artist JUSTIN HAYWARD, with support from guitarist Mike Dawes.  VENUE:  King Center in Melbourne.   Having chalked up fifty years at the peak of the music and entertainment industry, Justin Hayward’s voice has been heard the world over.  Known principally as the vocalist, lead guitarist and composer for the Moody Blues, his is an enduring talent that has helped to define the times in which he worked. ►    Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. Legendary British band WISHBONE ASH  Formed in 1969, Wishbone Ash pioneered a distinctive twin-lead guitar style that influenced the likes of Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden and more recently, heavyweights like Opeth. ►  Thursday March 5, 2020 at 8p.m. DIRE STRAITS LEGACY After helping accept Dire Straits induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Alan Clark joins other original band members and friends from among some of rock’s greatest musicians in Dire Straits Legacy. Clark, who joined Dire Straits in 1980 and who performed on every record and tour thereafter until the band’s eventual breakup, is reunited with fellow Dire Straits musicians Mel Collins, Phil Palmer and Danny Cummings. They are joined by Trevor Horn, Steve Ferrone, Marco Caviglia and Primiano Di Biase. ►   Friday, March 6, 2020 8 p.m. THE FAB FAUX Beatles Tribute Band.  The Fab Faux – named by Rolling Stone as The World’s Greatest Beatles Tribute Band – is coming to the King Center for the first time! The Fab Faux treat the seminal music with unwavering respect and are known for their painstaking recreations of the songs (with emphasis on the later works never performed live by the Beatles).  Far beyond a cover band, they play the music of The Beatles so impeccably that one must experience it to believe it. ►  Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. THE KINGDOM CHOIR from UK Following their show-stopping performance of Stand By Me at the Royal Wedding, London’s The Kingdom Choir will bring their infectious joy and inspiration across the Atlantic for a major North American tour. Founded in 1994 by award-winning conductor Karen Gibson, the choir draws from various Christian traditions and is dedicated to creating a sound that reflects the community they share through their warm energy and enthusiastic performances.
